VillasinPortugal.com supports the iCal standard, which means you can import bookings from any platform that exports them (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, FlipKey, Vacasa, and any PMS) and export your bookings here back out to the same platforms.
The result: a guest books your villa for the second week of August on Airbnb, and within an hour those dates are blocked out on every other site including ours.
How to Set It Up
From your owner dashboard you'll find a calendar tab with two URLs: one for importing bookings into Villas in Portugal, and one for exporting your Villas in Portugal bookings out. You paste those URLs into the corresponding section of each external platform, and the sync runs automatically from then on.
How often does it sync?
Most platforms refresh iCal feeds every few hours. We refresh all external feeds every 60 minutes. In addition, when you add a booking to our system your iCal export feed is updated instantly.
Can I block dates manually?
Yes. The owner dashboard lets you mark any range of dates as unavailable for personal use, maintenance, or any other reason. Manual blocks export through iCal just like real bookings do.

What If I Don't Use Other Websites?
That's fine too. The calendar still works as a standalone availability calendar, guests browsing your listing can see exactly which weeks are free. You don't have to enable iCal sync at all if you don't want to.
